Inclement Weather Policy
On the occasion of ice or snow days, CBC will always hold services on Sunday mornings at regular service times which is 10:30 A.M. Members and visitors must use their own judgment as to whether or not the roads are safe enough for them personally to travel on. If they feel it is too dangerous, members should simply stay home. CBC has a Live Feed on this web-site and members can watch the service via the Live Feed. Holding services on such days is in no way a statement by CBC that the roads are not hazardous and safe to drive on. Around the area certain roads are much more hazardous for some of our members and guest to travel on. Yet we will hold services with those who have made the decision themselves to attend. Sunday School on such days will always be canceled. When ice and snow occur on Wednesdays the membership will be advised via email, Facebook, texts, and by the web site if possible, when service is canceled. Members at area churches which close on such days are certainly welcome to attend here at CBC for these occasions. On such days all in attendance should enter and exit the church campus by the Church Road entrance as the uphill entrances off Hwy 51 can be slick. We discourage all of our elderly and our teenagers from driving to the church for services on these days. Be advised that parking lots can be slick upon entering the church campus.
