COOK-GREG

Personal testimony:

At the age of eight, Greg responded to God’s invitation to receive His prevenient grace. Realizing that he was a sinner and knowing that Jesus was the only one who could forgive and rescue him, he acknowledged his sin, repented, and asked Jesus to save him. He is trusting in Christ alone and His promises that “anyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.”

Experience / Background:

At age twenty-four, God began to reveal, through His Word, that Greg’s purpose in life would be to serve the church as a pastor. He has served in full-time ministry since 2002. In addition to serving within the church, he attended Mid-America Baptist Theological Seminary where he received an Associate of Divinity and Master of Divinity Degree. He also received a Bachelor of Science in Organizational Church Leadership from Union University. Presently, he is working to receive a PhD in Practical Theology from Mid-America Baptist Theological Seminary.

Family Information:

God tremendously blessed Greg in 2001 when he married the woman of his dreams. He and Ryan have since then been blessed to bring three beautiful daughters into this world. Marriage and parenting may have its challenges, but he is humbled each day when he considers how blessed he is to have all four of these amazing ladies in his life!

Personal Interests / Hobbies:

As far as hobbies are concerned; since he was a young boy, he has enjoyed the outdoors. Particularly, he enjoys hunting. He is a conservationist, and enjoys wildlife management. While hunting is considered a sport to some, he considers it a continuation of historical survival. It is a great time to enjoy nature and serenity.
